Awe geez! Did I offend a fellow Savage owner(s)! Didn't mean to. You people are great.

"Gay" in the context I used *doesn't* mean homosexual. It is a term used around where I live, meaning "silly" "boring" "not cool". In that respect, I feel the same way my buddy does. Sorry. (Note: we both teach high school, it's a term teens use A LOT).

And Captain America (Fonda's quintessential chopper in Easy Rider) has *ape-hangers*. That bike is waaaay-cool. A big 1969 vintage poster hangs in my classroom of Fonda riding that bike. I don't consider the pullbacks on the Savage ape-hangers. (Ape-hangers are *not* gay, by the way)

I guess that dialect term isn't what the world thinks. Don't take offense, please! If you're getting laid with the pullbacks, by all means *keep 'em* and *ride with pride*.

Bottom line: You do what you want to your Savage and I'll do what I want. It's America! Also, any motorcycle with pullbacks is better than no motorcycle at all: that's a fact.

;-)
